Month of May

National Skin Cancer Awareness and Detection Month!

Stay out of the sun; though if you do activities in the sun, wear sunscreen daily.

Getting wet can cause you to burn quicker. If you're outside and sweaty, you NEED to reapply sunscreen. Going to the beach and going to the pool require the same routine. They also say to apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before being exposed to the sun.

Surprisingly enough, sitting in the car or at home can get your UVA rays also. These are the rays known to age.

Just be sure to suit up in sunscreen before leaving the house to save your skin.
